hmv news is an entertainment website displaying the latest news for Film, Music, Showbiz and Video.
The Brief
HMV wanted to create a blog which showcased all latest entertainment news across nine different languages. We needed to stick to the brand style guide to ensure that the HMV brand was brought across into this site. The Project
We created a multi-site install on the main www site for nine different countries. These sites will automatically change depending on the user’s location. The posts which are published on the main www site will then be automatically published to Apple News using a custom plugin utilising the Apple News API to ensure posts get published into separate categories for Showbiz, Film, and Music.
We also created popups to display products related to posts so the user can easily buy via HMV online.
