Tudor Rose is a Gatwick approved parking operator. It was the first “Valet Parking Company” to be awarded the ParkMark® award for their top level security from the Association of Chief Police Officers.

The Brief

Tudor Rose had an outdated website on Joomla, which caused problems for the business. 

Here’s what they needed us to do:

  • Make it easy for users to checkout.

  • Save time within the business to update content with ease.

  • Create a responsive website.

  • Content Migration with redirects put in place, to improve SEO score.

  • Enable booking car spaces online, with extra service options.

  • Backend configuration for price specific dates.

  • CSV Export of orders sent via email 3 times a day.

  • Global Pay integration for payments.

  • My account area, to update and view past bookings.

  • Customer emails.

  • Easy to navigate form for users to get a quote.

  • Multi-step checkout to ask users for information via customised form.

The Project

With the brief set out above, we gave Tudor Rose two options. They could have a fully bespoke ordering system or to use a premium plugin, which we would also work perfectly for the above requirements.

We could fit our work around the clients’ budget, and allow time to focus on the user experience (UX) aspects of the website. The plugin we chose to use is updated regularly and keeps in line with the Woocommerce framework. So we could make another bespoke extension, not affected when the website is updated.

Tudor Rose now has a fully functioning site which can be updated with ease. They got our training and support, which is offered on all our projects. Their employees are happy to edit without any worry that the site may go down or cause an error somewhere else.

Every morning at 1AM, an automated custom order export is sent to their arrivals team. To show them who’s arriving on that day and what time. 

That means admin work has been lowered considerably and as a business, they’ve become more efficient. And it’s easier for them to do their jobs.
